KeatsConnelly adds two New Cross-Border Professionals to its Staff

Kerry Gray has been hired as the International Tax Director.  Kerry brings 37 years of experience with Ernst & Young Canada, where he was a partner and previous head of the Human Capital Canadian National Network.  During his career, he has provided personal tax consulting to executives of major multinational organizations.

Kerry will have a number of responsibilities, but the two most important are; 1) make sure that clients have the best cross-border tax advice, and 2) our professionals receive the best cross-border tax training available.

Kerry has a B.Comm. in accounting and an MBA in Finance from McMaster.

Volunteer positions included:

  • Board of Directors – Burlington Golf and Country Club
  • Sunday Sinners Men’s Curling League Coordinator
  • Chairperson of the Canadian Mixed National Curling Championship

Kerry has a significant amount of teaching experience,  which includes:

  • Mohawk College of Applied Arts – Accounting
  • McMaster University – Personal and Corporate Income Tax
  • EY internal and external educational forums for 35 years

Kerry is married and his wife is a competitive curler.

Michael Hinterlong has been hired as an Investment Analyst.  Michael recently graduated from Northeastern Illinois University with Honors, with a degree in Finance and was a member of the Alpha Chi National Honor Society.

Michael is responsible for trading, reviewing client portfolios, researching potential investments, and back office operations within the investment department.

Michael is married and works out of our Phoenix office.
